Got some of the tail hardware built. Turned out really nice. The spring is proving a little hard to find. I just kind of guessed on the vane bracket and rod. I found an aluminum cable clamp and made some caps for the rod adjuster.

So finally the last parts are coming together. Some from south Dakota, some from Indiana. The spring I'm having made. Going to cost 125 bucks but I don't care. I couldn't find one anywhere. Thank you Mister Ed for the photos and measurements. The last thing to build now is the angle iron "Y" brackets. Can anyone give me some specs on those? I think they are made from 3/16 1×1. I can figure out the angle from the bolt holes on the vane itself. I need to know the length to the mill and where and how big the cross piece is. Just about there please and thank you

Also wondering how much of the chain goes into the mast pipe and where do I attach a swivel to the pull out wire?
