Couple more mystery pieces

Have a part you can't identify? Did your parts get mixed up in the shop? Curious if that chunk of metal is a part you should keep? Not sure what kind of windmill or tower you have? Post photos of the mystery object here for the community to help identify.

Aha I see it now thank you! I tried sending you a PM. Not very good with this tech stuff. Do you have any vane parts or oil cup covers for the F & W 12?

Crap! the PM was never sent and shows up nowhere. It went something like this:

Check with Dan Benjamin. He has had the upper and lower tailbone castings, both sizes of oil caps and the caps for the pitmans (if you have the newer style pitmans).

Castings on the tailbone (about midway down) I could not find one last year. I welded up the one I had. The linkage adjuster (forget the proper name) that looks like the band connectors on a cement stave silo ... I welded up 2 pieces of pipe side by side. It'll work until I find one (no luck last year).

Spring ... can't help there. The other linkages/rods for the tail ... I can give you measurements or Dan B did bend up a bunch last year.
Thanks,
Ed

Hi there. I never got a PM from Mister Ed or windcatcher. I have also had trouble sending messages. I'm not sure how to get ahold of Dan Benjamin. I can't find him in the index. My email is Mikehage4@gmail.com or phone 306 540 4202. This mill is really coming along nicely just missing a few pieces. Any help is appreciated
