Visited Wayne this weekend and talked him out of his 11.5' Axtell model C. Look forward to learning more about it and eventually getting it up and flying.
Another mill off of my bucket list. Good trip and great hospitality. Thanks Wayne!
Anyone have a parts list or any other literature?

Nice
Re: Axtell Model C
Very nice.
Re: Axtell Model C
Hope to add an axtell to my collection someday mainly because it was made regionally
Re: Axtell Model C
Glad you made it safely with your new mill wished I was able to accompany you but unforseen events prohibited me from going as planned
Re: Axtell Model C
Paul Nice score. Enjoy the new mill.
Re: Axtell Model C
Paul is the address on your check the place to send you stuff. If so I'll dig out the info I have and send it to you. I don't see I'll be needing it anymore. Yeah Steve wish you could have made the trip. Could have showed you my wheel making machine. The biggest issue still for me is finding the wood.
Re: Axtell Model C
Wayne was wanting to see that machine. Maybe next time

The welcome mat is always out. I keep a fresh set of lies ready to tell.
Re: Axtell Model C
Hey Paul, take a drive over. You can look at mine. Those things are VERY interesting. You gotta see one before you tackle one. If you need a mainshaft, it has tapers and ledges, and threads and keyways if I remember right.
Call Dan Benjamin for parts. P M me for the phone number. IF YOU TALK TO HIM, AND HE HELPS YOU, THEN BUY FROM HIM. IT CREATES GOOD KARMA.
