It is rate for just one part to be worn. I see a rebuild in your future. We are in the process of rebuilding 15 and yes they were all still pumping when taken down. That phrase as well as I drove it right here and parked it 10 years ago carries about the same weight...

Also, if the babbitt is worn out, or the mastpipe nut is too high, the yoke might be hitting the nut.

Hello to all, as I am new here. I know this is an old post. But I signed up specifically to respond to this issue. What you see in this video is very rear, and I have only seen this once before. The pinions, shaft, and keyway are worn out. Watch the pinions on the shaft very closely. You will see them move past each other, causing the abnormal knocks.
