wondering if someone has made a list of the different museums and private displays through the country?
I would love it when traveling, anyone could add to it with a brief discription.

www.portales.com/dalley-windmill-museum I found this one by accident while traveling thru Portales from Las Cruses, New Mexico. At that time ,they had just finished the display and didnt have any signage . I saw it out of the corner of my eye traveling down the hiway at 70 mph. Luckily I didnt wreck the truck! Made my way back around to check it out. Boy, what a treat!

The one at Portales New Mexico was donated by one of the original organizers of the Trade Fair. The first three were held at there place 1989-1990-1991. Bill and Alta Dalley. I set across from him at my second Trade Fair at Lamar Co. in 2007. He ask me how many windmills I had. I had 5 at the time. He told me he had 85. His goal he said at the beginning was to have one of each until he found out there were 1000's so he had to readjust his goal. Got to set with him & his wife again at the 25th in El Dorado. Really great people. :D
