Sails with edges like this are good to put in the air? I have approximately 7 sales with edges that are chipping off (some better/worse then this example).

Okay i couldn't see they were that bad yes they should be replaced maybe you can find some good used ones to keep the patena

Thanks. I really need some fresh air though. ill be looking at winter from the warm side of the glass in a day or so, but fresh air now will be good.

I have a few of these, this is my best one. Still a bit worn on an angle, but much better than yours. Outside diameter is around 3 1/4". Shaft size is
1 1/8". Typical. I do have sails also. Just need to get them off the rails.

Those of you that have the windmill calendar , look at March .
The caption under the photo says "yah , he's got it " It's amazing what a collection of parts & knowledge Windy has , and willing to share both .
