Out of curiosity has anyone seen one of these before. I believe the one in the Ford museum is the same.If so I'd like to see pics.Thanks

K.R.B. there were several manufacturers that made the Stover mill before Stover became a company for stover.i believe this one was made by Freeport manufacturing.i guess it's just a Stover

amazing find, back east is a good hunting ground, any chance u could send me a close-up pic of governor weight, does it have a part number

Weightdude there are no part numbers anywhere on this mill i thought that was strange

This is the pump that filled the water tank does anyone know who the manufacturer of this pump is I've never seen one like it

I brought this thread back up because I've been wondering how this old wooden Stover Mill found its way into NY back in 1878.The town i found it in is Elmira near the Pennsylvania boarder. Well I'm thinking this is how.
