Hello From Texas!

Hello long time follower first time poster. We love vintage windmills at our ranch in Central Texas where we raise registered Texas longhorns. We currently have 4 complete mills, an Axtel ever oiler, two Flint & Walling's a star 7 and star 37 and Monitor open gear and a Aeromotor 702 that will be put up to actually pump. Then we have 3 projects, a 10 foot Fairbanks Morse, a 8 foot Woodsmanse and the current one on the stand is a 8 foot Dempster No12.

Relatively new to the rebuilding world and will be asking questions as we go.

Welcome to the forum.

Can’t say I’ve seen an Axtell Ever Oiled model A, but I have seen a B, C, and D. Does your “A” have an ID/data plate on it for the year made?

I honestly can't remember if it does or not it's been over a year since I've been up on the tower or had it on the ground. Chuck in Tolar thought it was a early 30s model.

Nothing like the view of an old windmill in the Texas hill country. Welcome!
