Last part needed to make this Ideal Steel functional .
The cross bar that the pitman arm pushes up & down to make the suction rod move up & down .
How is that for an explanation of the part function
Maybe some other brand could work ?
Stover manfg . these so others could fit / function ?

In the Field Guide book , on page 300 the Ideal Steel manfacured by Stover explains the part as the sliding crosshead , uses babbitt bearings to slide .
official terminology .
Could also use the connector for the pump rod that fits on the pitman arm shaft .
OK , those are the last items needed .
for now , that I know of .
