Sears house catalog with windmill

I saw this in my files and thought I would post it, just kind of a fun photo.

My son actually has this Sears House. The house has had a couple windows moved/removed over the years, but the floor plan is exactly the same. Doesn't have the windmill though. I think Sears had Red Cross make this windmill you pictured. Gregg

Neat, that is still a nice looking house today! I thought the tank tower in the OP was interesting, I wonder if Sears sold kits for the tank tower as well?

With Sears I think you could buy about anything your heart desired.

Yeah, you USED to. Not any more. Can't even change out my broken Craftsman tools anymore. Have to go to Lowes. "Well we don't have that stuff yet" is all I get there. Of course they'll sell you a $ 600.00 Craftsman toolbox.

It doen't get better when our Penny's and Sears go away! Especially when you don't have anybody to replace them in a small town.

Did Sears ever have a windmill and well supplies specific catalog? I know they had blacksmithing stuff in their wish book but also had a separate blacksmith catalog. Those were the days, you could even order Georgia Coon Dogs from them at one time and get them shipped USmail!

I have a replica of a 1908 Sears catalog, this is the pages of windmills in it. There is also a page with hand pumps and chain pumps.
