Oil change intervals

I imagine down there in Texas you can't miss to many years of maintenance with all those 100 plus degree days baking that oil like a deep fryer.

At least it had something that looked like oil in it. Seen a lot of them with nothing. I rented a pasture years ago and went to change the oil in the mill and I don't think any oil had been put in the mill in twenty or thirty years and they had been pumping water with it. That one got corn head grease and oil mixed in it as the land lord didn't want to spend any money to fix it right. I knew we would probably only be able to rent it for a few years as it was probably going to be sold for acreages so I wasn't going to spend a bunch of my money fixing it right.

Yes sir, I understand. When I took my 6’ Aermotor down a few years back it was just full of sand from west Texas.
