How did you get the wheel not to turn? I have been having 15 to 20 MPH winds this week. I'm glad to know there are some men out there that now's how to keep a lady.

I used rubber tarp straps hooked at 12 & 6 o'clock positions on the wheel back to the tail, with brake engaged. That allows the wheel to rock a little without spinning around with a wind change. The heart is made from 1/4" steel rod with Christmas lights wrapped around it. I also made a 8' cross for Easter. It all started with decorating for Christmas by stringing white motion Christmas lights around the inside & outside of the blades to make it appear the wheel was spinning. The tail & tower were outlined in red lights. Run a drop cord up to the platform and layout big loops on the platform to allow the head to turn into the wind. Sometimes I had to climb up and unwind the cord if it got wound to tight. It has been a few years since I have done it.
