Last week on the Austin Craigs list there was a Tip Top windmill advertised for $290 .
Any one know who purchased this gem ?

No I haven't heard or seen anything. Haven't been on craig's List for awhile.

I saw it 19 minutes after it was posted and pondered purchasing it as it looked complete, but with a damaged, yet fixable wheel. I just had too many other projects to drive to Buda and purchase it. The price was right and I too was curious who purchased it.

I added photos from that TipTop mill that sold, since we all like photos. (Not mine, just the ad photos)


I saw a Monitor L (I think it was) on eBay a few days ago that has since sold for $300. It was in California, looked complete, disassembled with new wood and relayed with a 30’ tower. Way too far of a drive, but it was posted originally for $500 and failed to sale. It was reposted for $300 and then sold for $300.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like bargain days for windmills.
