Interesting design and very early for a vertical axis windmill. I didn't see this guy listed in T. Lindsey's guide or mfg literature book unless Dewees had a different name for the company.

Mike you have to go to the book of windmill patents. If you don't have one as much as you like looking I'd recommend. You can order it from the Winniller's Gazette for $20.00.

His name is there in the back somewhere, that's how I knew to look him up. I was looking for manufacturers in Texas and I only saw 3 I think. Thanks Mike.
