Thanks for the comments guys. I put it on a stand for now, I want to finish the Ideal in the background first. There's also another 16 foot New Ideal here that belongs to Paul T, it's missing the hub and brake lever. We will probably get them recast now that I have this one.

Apparently there's a lot more windmills in Canada then here in the Northeast.

You had too much surface water didn't need to drill a hole. That's why all the manufactures moved to Batavia where the need market was. Thanks for the picture. Also it looks like the folks in Canada didn't throw anything away or sell it for scrap. They kept all the good stuff.

Ontario is pretty good for windmills, Quebec and the eastern provinces not so much

GS&M made a 12/13 footer, same gearbox different size wheel and tail. Toronto had a 12 footer which was the same as Aermotor.
I have a 13 foot GS&M Ideal wheel and tail, a 12 foot Toronto wheel and tail hanging on the wall in the barn. They both have spokes and hub but that's all I found in that size so far

A little more progress on the two powermills that I'm working on, I had to fabricate a new hub for the one.
