Flint & Walling identification

Generally speaking, this area is for general discussion about windmills, in most cases.

The rancher might have told the hunters you shoot my windmill and it will be the last thing you shoot. I've got a ten ft Dempster 11with a no bullet hole vane. Bought it from Ivan Block.

From the casting numbers, that is a Steel Star. I am restoring a Red Cross, which is a clone to the Steel Star. Check out my posts in "Projects" titled F&W Steel Star. I thought I had a Star but was a Red Cross. It is identical to the Star. Just different casting numbers.

Kenneth, I have read your post, hope you continue on the project. I’m sure I’m going to be bugging you for information on “how to’s” before long.
