Kenneth , i have had some luck finding caps that fit at the local wholesale plumbing supply house , Morrison Supply , Fergeson Supply are the two we have locally . They have black metal end caps , galvenized , raw steel , copper , MAYBE something will work for you .
I even made a special elongated cap fronm a license plate , easy metal to work & form . Purchase a small piece of copper from Hobby Lobby to shape .

I’ve ordered these previously with the zerk inside the brass grease cup for my Monitor X. I replaced most of the grease plungers with the brass grease cup with zerk. Might need a reducer to make them fit your application. When I ordered them, they were a little slow, but they arrived and look good.
