I did some work on somebodies windmill and found this way back in the bush, it was partially buried in the dirt. I was surprised when we got it out that it wasn't all rotted on the bottom. Got it home and fixed it up, it's going to be a wall hanger. It's off of at least a 12 footer maybe even a 14 footer, it's almost the same size as the one behind it which is a 14 footer. It says Dandy the Windmotor co Limited, Woodstock Ont.

No I don't know much about them. I think they sold the American made Challenge Dandy. That tail is the only thing I have found from them.

From what I found they started in the 1890s into the early 1900s. They also made two other mills the WINDPOWER and the WOODSTOCK both in pumping and power mills. Pretty cool!!!

The DANDY they sold was made by them I believe and had the replaceable Graphite bearings.

So where did you find that info?
