Generally speaking, this area is for general discussion about windmills, in most cases.

These pictures of strap hinges and the barn they were put on some 100 plus years ago are for Mike. This is on the Johnson farm in Johnson City.

Went to an auction and picked up this JD plow and the buzz saw for 50 dollars for both. ill put the plow next to other old implements and the saw with a hit and miss in the barn. Things went really cheap. They had two model L John Deere tractors one with a sickel mower 1200.00 for both!!!

I'm amazed that anything John Deere went that cheap. Must not have been many John Deere collectors at the auction, or they had a all the Model L's they wanted. My Dad's first tractor was a Model L. so my sisters tell me. Must not have pleased him because from then on he bought IHC.

Good Grief, last L JD L saw sell was 3k and they sold a G Allis for $5200 at the same sale! Of course they never sold any in my area originally and Ds and Rs are like belly buttons,

Dan you could post it on Smokstak under agriculture equipment. They talk about feed grinders a lot.
