Just got through watching a video about cotton gin village in Texas. Very Cool the way they restored it back to original.

This is a picture of a cotton gin built in 1874. It is in Lubbock and they are raising money at the Fibre Center to restore it. It was mule powered walking around on the ground. A belt going upstairs ran the gin stand and bale press. I saw one like it in Georgia.

The one I saw was close to the home of the 82nd airborne. They had a village with old buildings.
