Another project for fall

Me and my brother went to a auction preview for this weekend and a guy had this 602 on a trailer and offered him 150 dollars and sold it to me. Also the guy that bought the two JD model Ls at the auction last week has them at this auction hoping to double his money.

That's right! I told someone I had extra money because I'm not in bars shooting pool and drinking beer nor do I chase wild women. Be like a dog catching a car. What do you do with it after you catch it.

I hear you. I try to justify an apparent addiction to a hobby that is fun, challenging and many times costly $. One initial windmill turned into many projects for me.

This morning I drove over to Kerrville and looekd at windmill "stuff "
several photos show what I looked at .
Guy wanted $350 for all , i countered with $100 & left .

3 legged tower was a frankinmade , upper section was good but lower was really wrong ,
Did not reconize tower type , tension rods went thru the gerts
