Back from West Texas.

Post by Wayne »

Hello folks. I'm back from my trip. Did anyone miss me. Had a great time saw a lot of neat things and really got a lots of stuff marked off my bucket list. Did have one heart cache. Thought I was going to have a really good wind mill picture of an Eagle setting in it's nest on the platform of a tower with no head. Then it flew up to the very top and set there. Then I did a stupid old man thing while in the Franklin Mountains at El Paso. I left my camera on the table at a scenic overlook. I can replace the camera but not my pictures. I'll post some pictures after I get them loaded from my phone. Do have a shot of the eagle on top of the tower in my phone, but you really have to blow it up to see the bird. I find it kinda amazing that I took a hike in the Hueco Tanks State park just East of El Paso yesterday morning, got through little after noon. Got in my car and was setting in my chair at home before nine. More to come.

The only good thing about the senile years is every day is a new adventure even if you did the same thing yesterday!!!!

Here are some photos. The white wooden tower was on a ranch East of Eldorado Tx. The other Aermotor is at Los Cruces NM. The Jersey Lillie is a replica in Pecos, the Leader was a photo on the wall.
