lol, probably so. It would be fun just to sit up 80ft looking out the window.

I've been up several Aermotor fire towers in Arkansas and upstate New York, all more heavily built, with staircases within the tower structure and substantial gondolas on top.

The tower looks more Dempster or Woodmanse than Aermotor.

There was a lookout tower on eBay a few months back like Paul described, much larger and with stairs as I recall. It was still erected and the opening bid was something like $3,500. I recollect the seller stating in the ad that one needed a $1,000,000 insurance policy for the entity (or person) who was to take it down. Would be nice to have one, but like a lot of things that I can neither afford nor truly need.

The one in the ad has been on eBay for a good while now.

Yes, it is not Aermotor. I agree with Paul on probable Woodmanse.

There was an Aermotor one close where I grew up.

The other ads on ebay for Aermotor lookout towers were by the guy that took them down as that was his biz. I think this ad is by someone that bought from him, hence the wrong identification. The guy that had the biz of removal and rehab of Aermotor lookout towers had the biz all to himself. A couple years ago he was ready for retirement and had the biz for sale. Not sure if he sold. It was an obscure enough biz that if I had been younger...

Not a fire lookout tower, but it is a tall one. New Braunfels, Texas is what the ad says.

I'm with Windy. Nothing up there I need. I did go up in one with the stairs many years ago. It was close to Jacksonville Texas. I think it was only about 40 ft. Hey Mike there are a very few things I bring home I really need other than groceries. Want wins out every time.
