Here's hoping you get another b-day, and enjoy it as much as you did this one!

He-He! I've got to hang around long enough to buy a burial plot. I bought me a pre-paid burial plan the other week, it came with a casket. Got to buy a spot to put it.

My dad negotiated with the funeral home for the services and burial plots for him and mom. You have to understand that I think my dad would buy a car just so he could haggle over the price - he loved the process. He did the same for the burial plot. He and the funeral director went round and round and finally agreed on a price and shook hands. Afterwards the funeral director said that of course, with taxes and various fees, the final price would be XXX. Dad blew up and said BS, we've agreed on a price - if there's any other charges you eat 'em. The funeral director reluctantly agreed, but was pissed and my mom was terribly embarrassed and she later said that she just knows that when they go, she'll probably get a nice plot, but they'll just throw dad in the bay.

I knew of a husband that didn't want to buy a special urn to bury his wife's ashes after cremation. Went to Lowes and bought a 3inch X 24 pvc pipe with two caps and put her in the ground.

I once knew a guy who flushed his wife's ashes down the toilet.

His brother said it was a mean thing to do cause she couldn't swim. That family weren't wrapped to tight anyway.

Living with that guy, death must have been a blessing.
