Well I went and looked at the F.M. and bought it. Looks complete but rusty, all apart in a box.Only 3 good wheel sections and two tailvanes in fair condition one is off the original 1893. Another project for winter.

Hey Dan when I get ready to work mine over, I may holler at you for pictures and measurements. It's the same one right?

Bob your gear box is earlier than mine but I have sections of the wheel and the tailvane that went to your mill. Your mill is from 1893-1904. Pretty RARE.

ok sounds good. I think I have a tail, but no wheel sections. In fact I think I have re-done the tail. I also have what remains of the wood pitman. You can see it in the picture. Glad we have saved a couple of goodie mills.

Got the main frame cleaned up and painted. Has replaceable half bearings which seem to be in good shape. Interesting thing the bull gear only has a bearing on the one end and the end that doesn't isn't wore at all.
