Mystery hub

Have a part you can't identify? Did your parts get mixed up in the shop? Curious if that chunk of metal is a part you should keep? Not sure what kind of windmill or tower you have? Post photos of the mystery object here for the community to help identify.

It resembles a Star 37 hub, but I don't think it is one.

If it's off a Canadian mill, I have no clue. But then again, there is a Dempster wheel there.....

My Monitor Model X has those twisted ears. The only thing is, the snot and then the big hub are two seperate pieces.

Peter did any Canadian windmill company make their version of the Flint and Walling Mills like they did the Aermoter.

No companies that I know of here where the hub looks like that. I do have a theory on what it could be but won't know until I have it here. The rear of the hub looks like a GS&M Selfoiling and it looks like Toronto spokes might bolt onto there, so it could be one of those cross over hubs like mentioned in this price list. I hope that's what it is, that would be pretty cool and I would have to put one like that together :D
