Windmill or pump connection.....or??

Not sure what this is. Not pure windmill, I think. Perhaps involved with windmill connection to surface pump mechanism? I'd like get an idea; eliminate it as important for anything. Casting #D16 might mean something if we had a starting point.
Thanks for looking, Dennis

That appears to be a crosshead for a pumpjack.

Yep. Wonder who made it. Haven't seen one like that before. Might be worth some bucks if offered to the right person.

I agree with Windy
Don’t think there’s much demand for pump jack crossbeams
Just my opinion Wayne

Bingo guys: what a difference the correct term makes. With it, I found an end-clamp for sale on line with the same casting number and measurements as my two end clamps on the beam. It was listed as a Dempster windmill pump jack cross head end clamp. So if they have the mfg. name correct, I have a Dempster crosshead/beam. Thanks!

Mike if you have a gas engine, pump and pump jack you need a cross head so you can rig it all up and pump water. I have 3 such set ups. Had to make my own cross head for one. I would have bought that in a flash back when I was looking.

Wayne, I'd be interested in seeing a photo of what you did do. Thanks for comment too.
