if you get an email from Ivan, saying if you get this let me know, I am having health issues........it is Spam.
I spoke with Ivan and he is alive and well and also received the same email.
Do not respond, it goes to a unknown gmail account.

2 people called me tonight and said they got the same email from Ivan also.

I got it too and thought it was spam also. A couple of years ago I got one that said it was from John Durdle and he wanted to borrow some money for a grandchild. Also spam.

It may stop now. I really let him have it this morning. Nothing back so far. Gee I thought I had forgotten all those bad words I used. lol

I also got the email. I haven't been on the forum in years. In fact, I think this is a different or much updated forum. About 14 years ago I was mayor of Butler, Indiana and I thought it would be great to have a Butler windmill in the town of Butler. Ivan had one he was restoring and in October of 2010 (I think) he came down and with the help of Jim Koch put it up. I'm not the mayor anymore but I'm proud of accomplishing getting a genuine Butler Oilomatic put up near our new fire station.

It's the same website, just has been through a few different owners. I wish that all of the info that has been posted in the past was still available.

I'll see if I can get some pics posted of the Butler. i know Ivan took several pics but he may not have them any longer. It was a fun project and I was pleased to ramrod making it happen.
