Pull over lever
What is the typical length of a pull over lever? Thanks, Tom
Re: Pull over lever
For 6 or 8 ft mills, I usually make them 2 ft or so. Give or take.
Call Dan Benjamin for parts. P M me for the phone number. IF YOU TALK TO HIM, AND HE HELPS YOU, THEN BUY FROM HIM. IT CREATES GOOD KARMA.

Re: Pull over lever
I also read that the hinge hole is offset, would it just be a little off center?
Re: Pull over lever
Not sure about that. If the lever is mounted on the inside of the tower leg, it should automatically go over -center when you pull down. We usually put a wire ring around the leg to slide up over the handle anyway to hold it.

Re: Pull over lever
Greetings from the other side of the Rockies!
I was getting some measurements for someone else from out in the yard earlier today and saw this pullout. I'm sure it came off a six foot aermotor but have seen them interchanged a lot in the field. The brackets and wire hoop are Dempster with pipe replacing the original wood. In lever nomanclature, the hinge or fulcrum is next to the tower, and the load is the next hole out. The OC holes between fulcrum and load approximately correspond to the stroke length of all mills. Of course, the total length of the pull out is proportional as well.
