Looking for the shifting lever that mounts on top G68 , could also use a G19 coupling half and a G6 Pitman arm , also interested in a copy or look at sales info for it , to hopefully determine what holds it in gear .. I figured out what the lever (G68) looks like from a parts listing on a power mill thread here ........ viewtopic.php?t=2064&start=10

Thanks , it seems like finding the parts may be considerably worse than a "needle in the haystack" ........ Kind of started on reproducing the shift lever in the meantime .........

I believe yours is a 12ft Mill.Hard to tell but maybe a model 99 is there a number on the main frame? This is the parts diagram of the earlier model I don't know if some of the parts are the same. Most likely you'll have to have the parts casted from someone else's.

Main frame is G65 here . Not sure of the why and when of changes , but on your parts list I notice that the solid large spur gear G60 has only three stroke lengths , where the 3 spoke version (also marked G60) on the actual jack here has four ........ So what holds the jack in gear , when you pull down on the lever to engage the bevel gears ?..

ps: I concur that it is for a 12" mill , because of the G prefix , and the through vertical shaft is 3/4"

Your G 65 pump gear frame is earlier than the model 99.Like the Bell hub.Being your pump jack spur gear has 4 positions it might be what they called a high speed.

Picture from other (front) side ,, and a bad picture of my full size , kind of scaled "pattern" , self drawn .. So would the rod that goes down from the lever have a weight on it ,, or some sort of "furling" over center latch , anyone have further descriptions or drawings ? ...... Thanks to all so far ........

If you look at number 68 in the diagram that's the pump gear lever and I believe that is what puts it in gear. It looks like the end could be weighted.
