New member in Washington State.

Hi folks,
I'm a new member in Washington State. About 14 years ago my dad and I moved his aermotor windmill out from our family home in MN to my land here in WA. We assembled and set it up and it's been sitting there turning in the wind ever since. I'm finally getting around to finishing the assembly so it can pump water out of a shallow well.

One finishing detail is to add the oiling/maintenance platform. Obviously I wish I had added this before we set it up, but so it goes. I'm looking for plans to build a wooden platform. If anyone can help, or provide some tips, I'd sure appreciate it.

I'm not sure what model it is, so if anyone recognizes it, please let me know so I can find more information on it.

Photos attached.

She looks like a 8ft model 602. Like Mike said you can buy a new crow's nest but I believe their metal. You can always build your own original wooden one to keep it original " My CHOICE"" just saying !! Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the forum Kirk! Nice mill and tower.

Here's a link to a thread about 3 legged tower platforms that will help:

You were asking about a platform for a 3 legged tower this is my design. Double 2X8's gives me 16 inches of standing room.
