Vintage Windmill and Wind Generator Forum

We are having an art show at The Pearce museum this month. I bought this painting. It is of a windmill that was at a railroad siding between Albany and Stamford Texas. There were cattle pens to hold the ranchers cattle waiting to be shipped out and sold. I visited the artist studio about 3 weeks back and was admiring the painting. After the show opened, the Wednesday I was working I kept looking at the painting and finally decided I needed it.

David Godfrey is a great artist. He also does sculptures. Has one with a Road Runner on it. I admire. We went to the foundry where he gets his sculptures cast. That was a neat trip to see all the steps they do to get a finished product. Amazing how they cast a big life size piece.
