Decoration around windmill

Post by CTull »

So my wife has decided to decorate around our windmill with metal "plants." This is a picture of our neighbors entryway where they used the type she wants. Since we live so close to Canton and First Monday Tradesday, there are several of these fake plants in our area. Maybe it's just me but it reminds me of the bowl of plastic fruit my grandparents had for so many years. What are some thoughts on this? Are anyone on this forum using them? Am I overthinking the subject? She will probably win anyway.

She gets metal plants. You get windmills. That's a fair compromise.

Thanks guys for the input. I'm sure she will get the decor of her choice and I'm sure I'll be the one putting it in. Just seems like live plants are the way to go, but then, what do I know.

Having had an incident in the past, I’m no longer willing to put something around the base of my windmills that I’m not willing to accidentally fall on. Having that said, those metal plants do look good, but live plants would be my selection.

Happy birthday
