Aermotor 602 leaking oil

It appears my 602 is leaking oil over the top of the main frame. It’s not overfilled, am I missing a gasket between the main frame and the hood?

no gasket required at that point , the "hood " has a lip all around that would drain oil back inside the motor housing .

Check your hood and make sure it fits properly and is tightened down all the way. Also no cracks.

does your helmet have the inside rail that goes all the way around the inside of the helmet
