ID Windmill

Post by Wayne »

I've tried to ID this windmill. The Vane looks to be Aermotor but I don't see a Hood, unless it is an early one before they came with hoods.

Don't believe it's Aermoter if you look closely you can see straps on the tailvane. Close to a Stover but not sure !!

I actually didn't even see a windmill, I was entirely focused on what model of Minneapolis Traction Engine that was!

14' Aermotor open gear prior to bell hub. When wayne is done with his birthday festivities he can go back and get a better picture.

Based on the photo caption, I would like to know how far they dragged it before they put wheels under it to take it to St Louis or KC to open the barbecue store.
