Hi Michael. Yep, it is a banjo. Not good at it, but it does make me smile. Hard to be in a bad mood while playing a banjo! :D

Good to see you here!

Paul
When you get good with the banjo, you will grin instead of smile. Therein lies the meaning of pickin and grinnin.

Good luck with the forum!

Paul, the Banjo was the only instrument I ever really tried to learn to play.... how good are you at it?

Windmillerman-
Not very good at all :) I play solo......my wife likes me to play solo too (solo no one can hear me). Seriously though, I took lessons for years and am competent at playing songs from tablature. However, I cannot read music and cannot play by ear. It's also the only instrument I've 'learned' to play. How well do you play?

Hmmm "banjo players windmill forum". I also have a banjo but it hasn't taught me much over the years. I think the strings are probably rusted off by now. :-)
