Just finished building the WB David Bradley I took down a couple years ago. If you guys remember, I traded an afternoon of drone photography for this guy. It stood in a lakebed for quite some time. It was chained up. Got it taken down and brought it home. Took awhile to get around to rebuilding it but started finally a couple months ago. Original wheel was missing a couple of sails and some were bent. Got them back into shape and a couple changed out the best I could.

I decided to paint the housing a flat black to match the black stenciling of David Bradley. I think it came out pretty good. Waiting on a furling piece to come in to go between the storm stay. The old one looked to have been homemade

Hoping to have this up in the next few months. I think im going to put it up on a wooden tower, 16 feet or so.

A month later and it’s up! Only question, I did buy a new gasket for the lid, but it just seems to really want to leak. Like all around the lid entirely. Suggestions?

Looks good. I had a gasket in my WB and it leaked too, so I removed the gasket and it stopped leaking around the bonnet.

The gasket goes all around the cap. I use rope, and tack it in the cap with weatherstrip adhesive. Also what leaks and looks like the cap, is where the rocker arm shaft goes thru both sides. Thats why the original fits SO tight. I see in your parts layout, that you may have a (hook) broken off the brake shoe. Entirely common.
