Hey check this out! The helpers went to check a mill that our customer called us about. Seemed like a logical explanation...what the helpers came up with. First they said to get a priest, looks like it needs an exorcism, LOL Then they considered all the conditions, and came up with a reasonable reason for this. Guess what they decided....

Reminds me of one of those videos of a walk behind concrete smoother getting stuck running and everyone is hesitant to stop it.

Apparently it couldn't make up its mind which way the wind was blowing 🤔

Wind direction and proximity to high trees caused an eddy?

WB,

I had to look at the vid for the second time and think in between to feel pretty confident on what it is.

I think daily clues to think outside the box to solve is appropriate. If you dont want to go there and dont mind passing off, I like that kind of stuff and have a list of obscure clues...

Okay folks, looks like it was the trees causing a "vortex" of sorts. Or that's the determination, anyway. We have offered the customer that if it continues, we can top the trees for him. The helpers thought it was a 'one off" thing, but will stay advised.

The responses were fun. Thanks!

What an interesting demonstration of wind currents - if you know any science teachers I'll bet they'd love to show this clip to their class.
