Hello fellow vintage windmill fans. I just retired and have always loved old American iron. I’ve been involved with collecting antique tractors for some time. It took me 8 years to find my first mill close enough for me to get in So California. It’s an Aeromotor 8’ 702. I have it up and spinning in my front hillside yard and just love it. I recently found an Aeromotor RA open gear mill. It has a couple broken parts that I was hoping I could get some help with. Looking forward to communicating and learning from you all.

Jim , the broken / cracked shaft appears to be an easy reproduction for your local machinest . the shaft is cold rolled steel of a standard size , nothing exotic .

In a past lifetime I would fly out of & into the Camarillo airport over to the Oji airport for lunch . also worked at the Hueneme Port, familar with the area you live in .

Welcome to the forum Jim. Your RA you need parts for they should have part numbers on them which will help.
