I thought I remember a topic one time about glass oiler's on windmills. I thought someone said Aermotor used them Anyway I bought this one in Nebraska City. It has LUNKENHEIMER embossed on the glass they were one of the leading makers of oiler's. In the gas engine field everyone wants Lunkenheimer oiler's. If there was such a thing for windmills could this be what they might have looked like? :?

I posted a wanted info on Smokstak and got two reply's about the glass oiler. One they were used on line shafts. Should have looked closer who knows there might have been some at the museum. Craig also said the were used on the Mast Foo's windmills. Maybe the Iron Turbine.

This is the only reference to glass cup oilers I have ever seen in Aermotor catalogs.

From the 1899 Eleventh Annual Descriptive catalog
