Stover model W

Post by windybob »

I know the Stover was made in the S and M models. (okay funny guys, not that kind of S and M)

They also made a W model for a few years. Does anyone have some info on that W model? I've got a bunch of Samsons, and some don't look quite like a S and not quite like a M. Maybe I have a W model and don't know it, but I have no idea what to look for. It's the first self-oiler they made.

Thanks.

Bob, I’ve got some info and I have 2 heads hear. The W gearbox is completely different then the S & M. The hub is the same or similar to the S but that’s it.

Interesting. Maybe you could post it for the library? I have several Stovers, but don't know if I have a W until I see what it looks like.

If you're going to Shattuck, maybe a copy could be handed to my trusty helpers...
