Re: Mast pipe question
Maybe not? It looks to me like it is the newer style of mast pipe.
I think the cup is built into the mast pipe and there are thrust washer inside the cup.
You should be able to remove the thrust washers and clean it all up. Then, pack the cup with grease and put in one washer at a time and pack each washer with grease as you add them.

Re: Mast pipe question
Kevin should be correct. Pull out what looks like washers and there should be a cup underneath.

Re: Mast pipe question
Jerry
That looks like a second generation FIASA mast. They were made by sleeving the main tube down to the tube for the motor. They only have a very small amount of weld on the bottom of the small tube and very prone to break the weld. If you feel any movement replace it.
Most people have seen a windmill pick up the entire drop pipe string when a weep hole clogs and the water freezes the sucker rod to the pipe. I saw one of these FIASA mast pipes with the weld break that the drop pipe froze and the owner told the whole head was moving up and down on top of the tower. I assumed this guy was wacko until I saw what had happened.
