Several years ago my son and I met a windmille r at a truck stop outside of Tulsa and purchased an aermotor x702 gearbox . My son was wanting a windmill for his new place. As some of you know he drowned this summer and didn't get to finish his mill. I have gathered up enough parts except the tower braces (which I will prob make out of black iron angle) to finish it for my grandson. Thanks to Mas (Mike) and Grezmonke for hooking me up with missing parts. Hope to have it done by early summer will post photos as progress is made.

been working on the x702 got the wheel mounted and tower attached to hinges and base a few more things left to do and it will be ready to stand up. Excuse the color this is my grandsons mill and he wanted the tips to be blue and he usually gets what he wants lol.

Thanks for the post. Looks like another old windmill is coming back to live. A little color in ones life isn't a bad thing.

Very nice Steve. And a great tribute to your son, something your grandson will relish forever.

I like the blue. In fact I did a 8 ft #12 several months ago. A customer liked it so well he bought it in a hurry.
