Maybe should mention that Dandy is still in an assembled, unrestored condition and standing on the stub tower. Wheel and spokes have been disassembled as well as tailbone and vane removed.

Only one wheel section has any rust and its only surface; otherwise, all sails are intact and in good condition for its age. As you can see, DANDY is on one side of vane and "Neely Harris Comanche, Texas" is on the other. Assume that was the local windmill dealer in Comanche at the time. Dandys go back as far as 1890 so its likely, this mill is from the late 1800s to early 1900s. Real antique.
