Wow! I grew up in Lohrville, Iowa in the 1950's and the factory was still there-- assembling lawn mowers as I recall. The family which oir wned and operated Air Electric were fine folks and good friends. Thanks so much-- new to the forum and very much appreciate the photos, restoration work and this thread!

Air Electric is one of my favorite early wind electric companies, some very innovative designs. I wrote an article a while back on Air Electric and was fortunate to track down and talk to a few family members. It was only 5 or so years ago that the company closed after 80+ years. Welcome to the forum. Lots of knowledgeable folks here.
