Vintage Windmill and Wind Generator Forum

I took screen shots of a u-tube of a Duplex machine on the tower and since I'm shopping for one or even thinking of fabricating one, I'm looking closely at how they were made. Is this a Duplex factory tower? Does that stub-tower come all of the way down to where the angle changes color to more silver? Would that be about 5'?

It doesn't look like the tower has a stub looks like they kinked the leg. I posted my stub on your other post.
