factory fit

Post by mtblah »

the jack shaft has a special notch & base clearance for the water pump.
John Deer cast the jack shaft but the V belt pully was cast by Case, it has the eagle & globe.
Now i need another project, a John Deere single cylinder motor to belt up to the jack shaft
I dont have enough projects yet, so motor is needed.

There are some JD engines listed in the classifieds of Smokstak.com. They are pricy like most John Deere stuff.
Next year if you could make the Portland Indiana show and I bet they would be some for sale there.
