all of the fan blades on my Aermotor A702 has a notch.
is there a purpose ? or its just something the Chicago factory did ?

That notch is to help slide the sail clip into position

thank you , makes sense, some of us did not have to assemble the blade assemblies and we are still learning a lot from you very knowledgeable windmillers.
