Looking for a valuation

Hello. I've been helping my neighbour, an elderly woman who has moved into a retirement home in South Africa and is needing to sell her possessions in order to raise funds. Among her things I found a 1 gallon/1.546 litre Shell windmill oil tin. The cost of shipping from South Africa to the US or elsewhere is prohibitive so it's unlikely I'll be able to offer it for sale on the international market. But it would be very helpful if I could get an idea on this forum of what it might be worth. The fact that it's marked both Windmill Oil and Windpomp Olie (Afrikaans) indicates that it was made for the South African market. I have not been able to find anything similar on any of the oil tin collecting sites that I've looked at. Any assistance with a valuation will be much appreciated.

1.546 liter is more like a half gallon.
