Thanks for the input. If it is a Diplex, did it have a counter weight other than the governor weight I see? If so what shape would it have been? Thanks

I was visiting a wind gen friend today and amongst the 100 or so wind generators he had one water pumper. Any thoughts on the manufacturer? Thanks

They certainly were well built compared to the ones made today. They also didn’t have to deal with the rectifier and inverter power conversions. I'd call it a theoretical number. A 14" cylinder, 20" stroke, that's 13.4 gal/stroke at 15 strokes/min is 200 gal/min or 12,000 gal/hr but at less than 10psi. That's water park type flow rates but the starting torque on the mill would be huge. Obviously, you'll want a pretty small cylinder...
