Air Electric Restoration

Here's a 4 blade, 2500W Air Electric I picked up last month. I displayed it yesterday at the Early Day Engine & Tractor show, Temple Texas.

Re: Samson

I'd call it a theoretical number. A 14" cylinder, 20" stroke, that's 13.4 gal/stroke at 15 strokes/min is 200 gal/min or 12,000 gal/hr but at less than 10psi. That's water park type flow rates but the starting torque on the mill would be huge. Obviously, you'll want a pretty small cylinder...

Here are a couple of Samson pump tables from a Samson catalog. If you want to PM me your email I can send you the entire catalog. Lots of other useful info in it.

Re: Samson

I'm about 40 minutes from Bastrop, be glad to help if I can. I looked at it a couple weeks back. Re: Wind generator enthusiast

Hey Jim, glad to have your wind gen experience on the new forum. I have similar interests in the wind gen company histories. Would love to see pics of your early Wind Power Light Co machine or parts. I have an early one, believe its a 2500W.
